"Jill" 

A quick oil sketch of my friend, Jill, at a restaurant in Oregon. I always struggle to work quickly, which can sometimes mean I loose the forest for the trees.  I don't post many of my "studies" or "fast painting" but I feel strongly emotionally connected to this painting because of the memory of sharing what may have been a truly perfect day on that sunny afternoon.
